Small world roasters was created in 1997 essentially in order
to meet the high standards of small world coffee’s owner-baristas.
Small world’s thriving coffeehouse, committed to well-extracted espresso
and finely assembled cappuccinos, needed better raw materials, i.e. fresher,
more flavorful beans. On the front line at small world, we’re fighting
to be the best, fast, friendly, and most of all tasty, every single shot
and every single cup. That means mastering the equipment and techniques required
to do it right, and then hustling a lot.At small world roasters, we focus on roasting with the same passionate commitment
to excellence. We want to offer coffee aficionados like ourselves the best
coffee possible. You can make a bad drink with great beans if you don’t
know what you’re doing, but you’ll never make amazing drinks
with coffee that’s just OK. Our job is to provide both the beans and
the know-how to help you take it to the next level. Whatever role coffee
plays in your life, we can help make it better.
Over the last nine years we’ve grown to where we now roast thousands
of pounds of coffee a week, supplying coffeehouses, restaurants, bakeries,
gourmet grocers, offices and ordinary civilians across the country (click
