We translate your drink order into our own drink calling system. The reason we do this is not to confuse you, but to help us with our memory. The coffee maker is keeping all the drinks straight in his or her head. When the drinks are called out the same way each time, it helps us to remember them.

This is our drink calling code:

• Qty of shots
• Size
• Regular / Decaf
• Dairy
• Temperature
• Flavor
• Drink
• Destination

We make several assumptions when calling out your drink:

• You are only ordering one drink.
• The drink is small.
• The drink is caffeinated.
• The drink has whole milk.
• The drink is hot.
  

So, for example, if you told us that you wanted a latte in a paper cup that was large sized and made with skim milk, we'd call out "double skim latte to go".

If you wanted a cappuccino that was 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf, made with a shot of vanilla to stay in the cafe we'd say "1/2 & 1/2 vanilla cap for here".
